Concerning Teamkilling

Why doesn't AssaultCube just do away with it? Can't they do something server-side to make team damage have no effect on teammates? Is there any logical reason to kill a teammate (besides him shooting you first, considering that wouldn't happen without tking)? It's quite annoying... and the perfect example happened to me today. Jeno wayyyy tooooo many people play gema on ur servers bro. i know they are ur servers and u can do what u wish, but its getting a little crazy. i will show u how to lock the voting and make a good map rotation so people wont play these really annoying maps.
